What started as a simple tree trunk became one of my favorite experiments in handcrafted product design. This project wasn’t just about making furniture; it was about exploring how I could transform potential waste into something unique.

The result? A small set of pieces: a lamp, a coffee table, a coaster, and a compact accent table... with a Seaglass touch.

From the solid tree trunks, each section was carved, shaped, and patiently sanded to reveal smooth, rounded silhouettes; not by fighting against its form, but by letting it guide the design.

As the grain and texture became more defined, a protective varnish was applied to preserve its natural warmth.

The Lamp. I wanted something soft and textured to contrast with the heaviness of the wood. After experimenting with several prototypes, I finally found the right one. Using a gathering technique, the lamp became a timeless piece that gently diffuses light.

To add more interest, I created a small accent table. A discreet surface designed to hold objects without crowding the main space.

As a coffee lover myself, a matching wooden coaster felt like the perfect finishing touch. Not only does it protect the table from heat and moisture, but it also adds a subtle detail that completes the set.

Would you like to see more seaglass furniture in the future?

For now, know more about this proyect in the instagram page.
